The Sassi Story

Hi, I’m Emily Bottner, and that’s me on the left, and I’m Jill Tyler, thats  me on the right.  We are not only business partners and best friends but also Sassi Sisters!  In the summer of 2010 we were frustrated at not being able to find a versatile and comfortable headband that was tough enough for the gym and Sassi enough for all day wear that doesn’t slip off you head while you work out!!!!!.  

After many failed attempts at finding the perfect hair accessory we were driven to create something ourselves!

After some experimentation we came up with a unique design that is comfortable enough for all day wear and it DOESN’T SLIP!!! We also wanted our design to easily go from the gym to work or a night on the town.   We then took it a step further and created Snappi By Sassi.  With our inovative design we created a magnetic Sassi Band with multiple feather, sequin, and beaded appliques that easily snap on and off the Sassi Band.  With this design you can turn one Band into multiple looks. As we created them for friends and family through word of mouth the demand became overwhelming and we were convinced we had found a niche, and Sassi Bands and Snappi Bands were born!

We decided to bring Sassi Bands to market for two reasons: We know that it is an outstanding product.  Once you own a Sassi Band there is no going back to ordinary headbands that are uncomfortable and slip off you head.  Also, it is our opportunity to have the ability to give back.  Through the sale of Sassi Bands we give a portion of our proceeds to many amazing charities that are listed on our Outreach page.
